Please visit the IQCG blog to view the challenge details and rules to play.
Make sure you stick to the rules and please link your challenge entry blog post alone not your entire blog/home page of your blog..
Becoz its sad to disqualify some entries though the work is awesome to the peak but not sticking to the rules stated clearly. Everytime every month our host shylaa is doing an awesome job. So read the rules before giving your entries and dont miss the wonderful opportunity of winning our challenges.
Tri colour quilled wall decor.:
This actually fits our previous challenge too:)) as I have used some laces and cards lying at home.
Materials used:
1)Quilling strips 5mm in blue,pink and green
2)Ball chains in Blue , pink and green
3)A piece of two row silver rhinestone chains
4)20 cm length of a golden lace with 2cm width and a strip of a thick card in the same measurement
5) Some silver kundan stones
6) Double side tape/a Magnet
7)Ssissor, glue and a quilled needle
How its done??
1) the 5mm strips are rolled and quilled in three colours and kept aside
2)the golden lace is cut to 20cm length and the thick paper is also cut and pasted behind the lace for firmness
3) the flowers are then pasted one in the below centre and two on the sides above.
4) below the green quilled piece, the rhinestone chains and the ball chains are cut and glued starting with the taller piece in the centre and the smaller ones to the sides.
5) The upper part of the lace is decorated using stones and chains as I dont want it to be left blank and plain.
6) Finally the double sided tape is then stuck in the backside of the piece and fixed on the wall as a wall decor.
Thats it.. The piece is done.. Its so beautiful and cute when seen on the wall .. believe me..I just chose to give a cross look as we had good friday and easter sunday last week.
The piece can also be converted to a fridge magnet by glued a small piece of magnet instead at the back of the lace. Actually I had it as a wall decor for few hours and converted it to a fridge magnet later on:)):))
Hope you all like this piece of art.. Please give your partcipation as ever and link your entries here , and win some exciting stuffs from our sponsors..
Feel free to comment below the post if you like my work.
Cheers and Happy quilling...
