<br />
A paper lantern in chevron pattern using 7 mm quilling strips is what I have created as my DT work.<br />
The chevron patterns are created using 4 strips in each. The strips are placed perpendicular to each other and braided /weaved in a way to form the chevrons. They are then placed against each other and glued to a ball shape and a quilled dome is placed at the top to which a thread is tied for hanging the lantern anywhere needed. A small battery light can also be added in the center part inside , as a pleasant evening decoration, for parties and events too, if you wish.<br />
<br />
Hope you all like this work of mine for the current challenge of IQCG.<br />
Looking forward to see all your entries.<br />
Cheers,<br />

Hello <a href="http://indianquillingchallenge.blogspot.in/2017/10/iqcg41-festiveholiday.html" target="_blank">IQCG</a> fans ,<br />
<br />
Here comes my most favourite challenge of IQC "Festive / Holiday" as it fills our places with joy , fun and lot of enjoyment with our loved and dear ones of our life.<br />
<br />
As my part , Here goes my DT work for the challenge for which I have created two beautiful pairs of Quilled Jhumkas one in antique bronze and another in antique gold with golden rhinestones and ball chains enhancing their beauty and richness , to welcome the most awaited festival "Diwali". Also to give a festive mood, i have created a small quilled diya in copper shade.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikVPA0Tb4Cz8AQ7yIffFC6yFa3JIYok4krdczf2DWzyvrBR4KR8jV_zFou-j9Tv1q6OLDoBXc_jKKF-4LHEmyyuwL6c9uh5PH8V1FKLOhr68Kr5o4kNvT4GW6lQ44GIYj-Wl-pqkIpLijF/s1600/IMG_2175.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1143" data-original-width="1600" height="228" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikVPA0Tb4Cz8AQ7yIffFC6yFa3JIYok4krdczf2DWzyvrBR4KR8jV_zFou-j9Tv1q6OLDoBXc_jKKF-4LHEmyyuwL6c9uh5PH8V1FKLOhr68Kr5o4kNvT4GW6lQ44GIYj-Wl-pqkIpLijF/s320/IMG_2175.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used 5mm quilling strips for the jhumkas and 3mm strips for the diya , 3mm golden rhinestones and tiny size antique golden ball chains for the jhumkas with all other jewellery findings you see in the pic to make them as jewellery. Its been long time since I tried some hoop ring jhumkas and hence created them for now.<br />

I have created the above flying/ falling stick man card to fit the theme by creating a sky line background using white and blue poster colours. Then created a rough outline of the falling man and the parachute with a pencil. The parachute was then filled using maroon and red 5mm quilling strips using beehive technique to show it more dense and grass and flowers were then drawn to bring the landing effect.<br />
<br />
Hope you like this piece of work and looking forward to see your beautiful and innovative work for this month.<br />
Good luck,<br />

Hello Everyone,<br />
Happy to see you all again with my new work for this month's challenge - "INDIA"<br />
<br />
This month is so special to every Indian in this world ,as we celebrate our independence and freedom that we got through the struggles of many many patriotic leaders and citizens.<br />
<br />
As a dedication to them , I have designed a quilled card using tri colour strips of 5mm .<br />
Here it is:)):))<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidrW91GtfhU-0jn3-fQ3KojSNNlfqJ7lc58IWJiJ_9LSKEX4E_YDMtCZb0WZ7UZZEb3xBaQLyBA4-EhuXIT9UDjwSgTHdRY3sl7465EzxvOfchZQlz4n6HRaTSIKgwLOfqGwhDfKaSt4B4/s1600/20615411_10207253044642934_1424327501_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="796" data-original-width="1136" height="224" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidrW91GtfhU-0jn3-fQ3KojSNNlfqJ7lc58IWJiJ_9LSKEX4E_YDMtCZb0WZ7UZZEb3xBaQLyBA4-EhuXIT9UDjwSgTHdRY3sl7465EzxvOfchZQlz4n6HRaTSIKgwLOfqGwhDfKaSt4B4/s320/20615411_10207253044642934_1424327501_o.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I have used Orange and Green brush pens for creating a tri colour background in a 300 gsm watercolour paper/sheet and placed quilled white flowers with tri colour center with quilled leaves surrounding them . I have used loose coiling for the entire flowers and leaves.<br />

<br />
About my work:<br />
I chose paper-to-paper colour transferring technique for the background by punching some rose , pink and orange card stocks. Placed all the punches dipped in water ,over a 300 gsm watercolur paper. kept them for a while allowing some time for the colours of the cardstock to transfer on the watercolour paper and peeled them off. thus it gave a beautiful and mild shaded doted/ circled patterned background.<br />
<br />

(A closer look of the work)<br />
<br />
A thick rectangular cardboard was rolled using a thick thread and wrapped using crushed aluminium foil for the texture. glass colours of red , blue and green are then used for giving a shiny finish. It was then pasted over which a flower was quilled using 5mm strips of different colours and green leaves and swirls were pasted around them. for extra shines , i cut some golden embellishments and placed them at the top and bottom corners .<br />
<br />
I never finish without trying a jhumka and so tried this time too.<br />
Here it is:<br />

Rainbows are a treat to one's eyes as they are admired for their colours and the beauty they hold . Specially kids love to see them a lot.<br />
<br />
Who doesn't love to see right?<br />
Here I have done a pair of beautiful Quilled Square Jhumkas in rainbow colours and this piece will go as a gift for the winner of this challenge from me at the end .<br />

<br />
<br />
Its so long time since I quilled square jhumkas and so wanted to quill in that shape.. I have used 5mm quilling strips to prepare the base dome. The dome was then shaped to a square piece and has been sealed. Zero size Silver,Red and Green balls chains are used to decorate the Quilled Jhumkas along with some silver jewellery findings like bead caps , pins and studs. Finally the piece is washproofed using asian paints synthetic clear varnish for durablity.<br />
<br />
This piece goes well with plain white outfits particularly.<br />
Hope you like this piece of work and lets see who wins this pair. If you like to win this, do take part in the challenge abiding the rules properly to avoid elimination. Please visit <a href="http://indianquillingchallenge.blogspot.in/2017/05/iqcg36-rainbow-colours.html" target="_blank">IQC</a> blog for details on the challenges and how to link your projects.<br />
Looking forward to see all your colourful projects<br />

<br />
So I have made colourful and bright flower bunch for giving and gifting to our beloved ones as a sign of showing our love and affection towards them.<br />
Here it is:)):))<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHELejFDqtgDhmW1QeYbCtYxcjDqodP4GUhzGywk7xOH_84RDmtctr1OrVKWv1EsTBJOgIZcil5VReaZJhw5GtNBU_p96vZ254TRaOM0NERTe30xSBa6h2Rc5xbwuj3Ncw4xkxUjMDhyrJ/s1600/IMG_1385-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHELejFDqtgDhmW1QeYbCtYxcjDqodP4GUhzGywk7xOH_84RDmtctr1OrVKWv1EsTBJOgIZcil5VReaZJhw5GtNBU_p96vZ254TRaOM0NERTe30xSBa6h2Rc5xbwuj3Ncw4xkxUjMDhyrJ/s320/IMG_1385-002.JPG" width="319" /></a></div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The whole Flower bunch is done using crimping technique and mostly using 5 mm Quilling strips.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Each strip has been crimped one by one the crimped florals are done first. The leaves are then crimped and shaped using three variants of green starting from lighter shade inside to darker shade coming outside. The crimped pieces are then arranged to get a flower bunch look..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hope you all like my work for the challenge and please leave a comment below this post to boost my creativity in return:)):))</div>

Hello Everyone,<br />
I am DT Aparna Balakrishnan of <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Shequills/" target="_blank">shequills</a> and today i am here to present you my DT post on IQC challenge #33 - Your favourite quilling technique.<br />
<br />
Though I have many favourite quilling techniques which I love to do, my all time and most fav techniques are Beehive quilling and tight coil quilling.<br />
<br />
So here is my DT work which has a beehive quilled butterfly and some tight coiled flowers and leaves surrounding the colourful beehived creature.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_xhqKzK63oMSZe6lKhsAVIUh1XtGmNxtixSVM5BCNN53kv6cpBVuMnVi6ayd2OyxdgEWpfaPxXlZB6uz749_V8D1reAuXr3waTsMLdryYA3xQHPYkWEN5__kZiQwcaQI1rNlenTfps6LN/s1600/IMG_1259-002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_xhqKzK63oMSZe6lKhsAVIUh1XtGmNxtixSVM5BCNN53kv6cpBVuMnVi6ayd2OyxdgEWpfaPxXlZB6uz749_V8D1reAuXr3waTsMLdryYA3xQHPYkWEN5__kZiQwcaQI1rNlenTfps6LN/s320/IMG_1259-002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I started the project with a printed copy of the butterfly I chose, and quilled the outline of it with black 5mm strips. The beehives are then added and filled throughout, in colours of blue , pink , green , red and orange. I used the primary shape/technique of quilling (tight coil rolling) to make flowers in few colours and the leaves were quilled simultaneously placing the flowers over them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally the work was completed with branches here and there using crimping and spiral techniques.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hope you all like my DT work for this month's challenge. Please do participate with your wonderful quilled projects made with your fav quilling techniques and win some exciting stuffs from our beloved sponsors.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

I started drawing the stencil design in a piece of paper measuring 15cm x 12cm and using a basic paper cutter tool, I started cutting along the stencil design and kept aside. Taking another paper of the same measurement , I coloured it using a light orange and dark orange acrylic colours using a sponge to give a monochromatic effect for background. You can observe that in my work. Once the paper is coloured and background is created , I chose magenta pink and brought the stencil design on the orange background paper. Once it was stenciled , I bordered the corners using crimped green strips and placed a quilled flower made using light yellow and light green quilling strips, with triangular petals over the stencil design, with leaves and branches surrounding it. I this pasted the completed piece on a magenta handmade paper, and stuck green and silver rhinestones on the corners. Finally added some stones here and there around the flowers too. </div>

The piece has been hanged on the wall by inserting a golden lace in the holes punched.</div>

I started with creating the grasses by cutting the green quilling strips into tiny pieces, trimmed them off to a grass look, and pasted around the cake base, leaving some space for the entrance. Then the handmade papers are cut accordingly to create the play equipments and entrance of the park. once I finished them , the quilling figures were created and placed on the play stuffs . Flowers , pots and benches were then added one by one and finally the runny glue(glue+water)was applied all around the flat surface to complete the sand filling.</div>

Its so cute to see and I like it very much as this is my first craft module. So this piece will be seen in my navratri kolu this year:)):))for sure</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
All the flowers are quilled using 3mm and 5mm papers with plenty of tight coils in all possible colours, I had with me, and the leaves are quilled using 5mm green strips, with blue handmade paper with rough texture, as background. For an extra kick, I stuck some ready to use foam flowers here and there too.<br />
<br />
Once I finished, I felt it has got the shape of our india too;));)) anyone feel it???:)):))<br />
<br />
Hope you all like my work and giving you some inspiration to start working on the theme. Please give your active participation and submit your entries in the link provided below the challenge post in our IQCG blog. Good luck everyone and looking forward to see all your wonderful works..<br />

Tri colour quilled wall decor.:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This actually fits our previous challenge too:)) as I have used some laces and cards lying at home.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Materials used:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1)Quilling strips 5mm in blue,pink and green</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2)Ball chains in Blue , pink and green</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3)A piece of two row silver rhinestone chains</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4)20 cm length of a golden lace with 2cm width and a strip of a thick card in the same measurement</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5) Some silver kundan stones</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
6) Double side tape/a Magnet</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
7)Ssissor, glue and a quilled needle</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
How its done??</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1) the 5mm strips are rolled and quilled in three colours and kept aside</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2)the golden lace is cut to 20cm length and the thick paper is also cut and pasted behind the lace for firmness</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3) the flowers are then pasted one in the below centre and two on the sides above.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4) below the green quilled piece, the rhinestone chains and the ball chains are cut and glued starting with the taller piece in the centre and the smaller ones to the sides.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5) The upper part of the lace is decorated using stones and chains as I dont want it to be left blank and plain. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
6) Finally the double sided tape is then stuck in the backside of the piece and fixed on the wall as a wall decor.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thats it.. The piece is done.. Its so beautiful and cute when seen on the wall .. believe me..I just chose to give a cross look as we had good friday and easter sunday last week.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The piece can also be converted to a fridge magnet by glued a small piece of magnet instead at the back of the lace. Actually I had it as a wall decor for few hours and converted it to a fridge magnet later on:)):))</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

is quite simple but little time consuming. You need to have 100% patience to

<span lang="EN-IN">Coming back to the process, 7 pieces of
small size circle cuts and one large size circle cut of transparent sheets are used.
The circles can be either drawn using a compass or any circular object
available at home. I used lids of boxes that were lying at home .So didn’t
measure the size of the pieces. Each piece of the sheet is then filled up using
ball chains and quilling strips in a circular alignment starting from outside.
It can also be started from the centre point of the sheet. Again the choice is
completely yours. It took hardly 20 to 25 mins to complete every single piece
and the bigger one took more time.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I have started my first DT work with my favourite Jewellery Quilling.. As the theme is pink , I have created a pink Quilled Jewellery set to match a silk saree which has the golden pink shade in it.. The jhumkas and the Pendant are quilled using 5mm pale pink strips.. 6 strips each for the Square jhumkas and 12 strips for the pendant. It is then sealed and coated using pearl pink colour followed by two layers of metallic gold paint to give a golden pink finish.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Dear all , </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Wish you a very happy and a prosperous new year...</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Happy to share that <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Shequills/" target="_blank">shequills</a> has completed two <span style="background-color: white; color: #141823; line-height: 19.32px;">successful years and stepped into its third crafty year.</span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px;"><br /></span>
<div class="text_exposed_show" style="background-color: white; display: inline;">
<div style="color: #141823; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px;">
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif;">Strength, progress and growth come through continuous learning, effort and hard work .<br />A little progress everyday adds up , to BIG RESULTS.. Every progress of mine happened, with wonderful people around me who supported , motivated , encouraged , acknowledged and valued the piece of work I did. I sincerely thank each one of you who made this happen and I am pretty sure , I will have this tremendous support in the coming years too.</span></div>
<div style="color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
Unlike last year which was a starting point , this year kept me quite busy with many orders lined up and I managed to complete few bulk orders too with more customization work and got a chance to exhibit my work in a mini stall. Apart from quilling jewelleries which I started shequills with , I expanded my work and tried my hands on Quillography , Frame works , Candle Holders(which became a hot selling piece in a season) and turned as a teacher, teaching this wonderful art to many, when requested, both on jewellery making and Quilling techniques through workshops.</div>
<div style="color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
I not only managed on my sales but equally engaged myself , by giving my active participation in Indian Quilling Challenge, organized by Shylaa Shree a crafter, and became a topper three times and a winner in frame it up contest held in the month of august 2015.. Thanks to IQC team which played a very major role in bringing out my crafty thoughts to this creative world.</div>
<div style="color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
Once again thanking everyone who made me what I am today..</div>
<div style="color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
Please visit my page <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Shequills/" target="_blank">shequills</a> to see my quilling works and feel free to text to shequills@gmail.com for orders , enquiries and workshops.</div>
<div style="color: #141823; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.32px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
As a token of thanks, shequills is having a second anniversary celebration contest for its viewers and supporters . </div>

Hi all,<br />
<br />
Welcome to my blog after a long time.. I am here today to present a grand quilled mugappu jewellery set in a traditional combo that is very much seen in southern silk sarees. - Green and Red..<br />
This jewellery set is so special becoz, it is designed for my own use for this year's festive season to celebrate and satisfy my festive mood by accompanying my new dress with this beautiful handmade stuff. I am so happy with the way it has come out exactly with the richness and elegance that I had in my mind and eagerly waiting to wear them..<br />
The set has been designed with the following materials and few other jewellery findings.<br />
*Quilling Strips<br />
*Crystals<br />
*seed beads<br />
*Rhinestones<br />
*Cone Outliners<br />
*Acrylic paints and varnish to protect it.<br />
I have used green seed beads , bigger size green crystals and smaller size red crystals for the chain and a flower shaped mugappu is done using paper strips with acrylic red coated over it.. Small golden rhinestones and green outliners have been used to decorate the mugappu pendant, the jumbo size jhumkas and the oxidised studs. The jhumkas are bordered using bigger size red rhinestones half way in and out to get an umbrella patterned finish . The pendant can also be positioned in the center as a regular jewellery if desired...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdgtZ0Ltj7W1xYDWo-FT6Vdz6Xe3MbgwgSL9v5lZAPucMj4M2mgnKjMLXqy2-xpQ3jO116SYigAa3jH5uPCz2Tols072xtiL3EYZ3xjrgjDkoTufLTZW1yIAY0KYYhlcmVuTJ-UYEQFmuN/s1600/aparna-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdgtZ0Ltj7W1xYDWo-FT6Vdz6Xe3MbgwgSL9v5lZAPucMj4M2mgnKjMLXqy2-xpQ3jO116SYigAa3jH5uPCz2Tols072xtiL3EYZ3xjrgjDkoTufLTZW1yIAY0KYYhlcmVuTJ-UYEQFmuN/s320/aparna-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
What more we need to celebrate and make the festive season grand, rich and memorable..<br />

Hi everyone,<br />
Glad to give you all a new post which is a <b>quilled </b><b>circular </b><b>frame</b>. As I have already stated many a times, I am a great fan of Indian Quilling challenge and love participating no matter how busy the days keep me and never miss to give my submission for the challenge every month.<br />
<br />
This month we have been invited to showcase our creativity on Quilled frames and I have taken it again. Please find the challenge details <a href="http://indianquillingchallenge.blogspot.in/2015/08/iqcg-19-frame-it-up.html" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />
<br />
Observation is a key to catch the method in which any craft/work is being carried on step wise, which in turn makes you a good implementer when it is tried on your own. This is applicable everywhere and anywhere and I applied it here by observing the ready to use rectangle shaped frames which is available in any normal craft shops. So how it is done?? I tried to bring my own frame from the scratch using papers on which I can quill and give a beautiful handmade circular quilled frame.<br />
<br />
The materials I used for creating the circular frame:<br />
1)plain A4 executive bond sheets(as they r much thicker than normal ones) 20 in nos.<br />
2)pencil<br />
3)sissors<br />
4)compass<br />
5)White glue<br />
6)OHP sheet<br />
7)eye pin/head pin<br />
8)A needle tool<br />
9) a small red seed bead<br />
10) flat nose plier<br />
11) a frame hanging ring<br />
<br />
Materials I used for Quilling work:<br />
1)5 mm Quilling strips in shades of light green , dark green , aqua blue , dark blue and shades of pink<br />
2)7 mm Graduated Quilling strips in shades of orange and lavender<br />
3)Quilling comb for leaves<br />
4)Crimping tool for flowers<br />
5)Quilling needle<br />
6)Quilling board<br />
7)White glue.<br />
<br />
So here are the steps that I carried one by one.<br />
Taking my first plain white executive bond paper, I drew a circle with 5cm radius and 8 cm radius using a compass and a pencil.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ7OvWJ0qgANpNP0SbHk8rjSuMjUdWHLyAGNL0soKqENkrj7gkLH5xyomP8cSWeKueJnCsOYjtO5ZlcnLomUOmym0LqV-0louaxajVl39NqtQa5WTlim4dGVvC6Ha-3p-ELfPXXyOyWz9g/s1600/1-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ7OvWJ0qgANpNP0SbHk8rjSuMjUdWHLyAGNL0soKqENkrj7gkLH5xyomP8cSWeKueJnCsOYjtO5ZlcnLomUOmym0LqV-0louaxajVl39NqtQa5WTlim4dGVvC6Ha-3p-ELfPXXyOyWz9g/s320/1-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I repeated the above step for 20 sheets and using the sissor I cut the inner circle and created a 5cm radius circlular space for the photo space inside the frame.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPjjUFrCAuf6c6epD1VSdkxtexWz6MNJxNBTiNzB-qObEBA9te9AERYNgGQxvv0jN-h5hZmsJ9V3LorQIh7k2fsZus6zC-r86ZzXXAxGwAsV7LoGPDiHcgDRiNktbydbfEISHgh4xxDlmr/s1600/5-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="233" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPjjUFrCAuf6c6epD1VSdkxtexWz6MNJxNBTiNzB-qObEBA9te9AERYNgGQxvv0jN-h5hZmsJ9V3LorQIh7k2fsZus6zC-r86ZzXXAxGwAsV7LoGPDiHcgDRiNktbydbfEISHgh4xxDlmr/s320/5-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After repeating the process for all 20 sheets I glued them one by one using a white glue and glued a thick black paper behind them as a base. I then glued a patterned thick paper in the front just to hide the plain white sheets and give a patterned look. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDi3gtB2fiA4nKjgWmgIwM-PQGpTlRQW3wIUVqbkxmBRMALf4alGLQMzxJhzL6TGnFCwCuTG2smPpghZ-wJwxaDw8uNEcGkmZeYDQ2SxoROAX3r8O6PwHfEVSX7_7T5rSJF0SXHm7TBD9m/s1600/6-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="277" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDi3gtB2fiA4nKjgWmgIwM-PQGpTlRQW3wIUVqbkxmBRMALf4alGLQMzxJhzL6TGnFCwCuTG2smPpghZ-wJwxaDw8uNEcGkmZeYDQ2SxoROAX3r8O6PwHfEVSX7_7T5rSJF0SXHm7TBD9m/s320/6-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
so you will get a frame like the one above with a black base behind. I created some space to insert the OHP sheet and the photo while gluing the black base, and inserted a plain 5.5 cm radius white circular cut paper and an 5.5 cm OHP(transparent) sheet above it to secure the photo inserted. Then I started to quill my work as below.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I gave an inner circlar border using 5mm strips in shades of pink and started crimping the 7 mm graduated strips in two alternate colours and created 10 flowers . Then I created two colour leaves using combing technique in 5mm green strips and inserted between the flowers with a teardrop piece in light and dark colours of blue over it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1W1eqi_ibkr42_Ft8bQGNf-IIf5C9L_hY9emxgH1cuK7mcbXCTsZ8__jfEMiku-iS_ArzCU6f8noFs1Fc6e2wZfmdQFrNbrSB2Jlv465zzo1B6a_UWqwYZV0n1PnVKCZjLTHGoC3dHTcL/s1600/7-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="269" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1W1eqi_ibkr42_Ft8bQGNf-IIf5C9L_hY9emxgH1cuK7mcbXCTsZ8__jfEMiku-iS_ArzCU6f8noFs1Fc6e2wZfmdQFrNbrSB2Jlv465zzo1B6a_UWqwYZV0n1PnVKCZjLTHGoC3dHTcL/s320/7-001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
With this I completed the quilling part and moved on to create a stand for it so that It can be placed anywhere with an object lying at home supporting it behind, and also a hook to hang it on the wall as a wall decor/frame. I managed to provide both the features in it by the below steps</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaYDVjsJG5KEZw1MtCZg7hPfVXMHBhYedtlC3K1jku9TGv302Z_N4NltSmULB4grQpyg4D6Tor8ZIvLN3ojLUFpsviYB3_DU5fOfGL5Zyas2grRfAk5FoZXaBG-LOoTxj0guEhv0-z_qdH/s1600/9-001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaYDVjsJG5KEZw1MtCZg7hPfVXMHBhYedtlC3K1jku9TGv302Z_N4NltSmULB4grQpyg4D6Tor8ZIvLN3ojLUFpsviYB3_DU5fOfGL5Zyas2grRfAk5FoZXaBG-LOoTxj0guEhv0-z_qdH/s320/9-001.jpg" width="179" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I created two rectangular shaped card stack/paper stack using 15 to 16 paper pieces and glued them as shown above. I allowed it to dry completely so that it becomes secure and strong enough to hold the frame in position when placed anywhere. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipIXqGrDC8zP19xvujKhh6i9oDGV46spO-ir_jtzMWAsHAFwUdacLwKXp9Y0129CjF0ZcPYHvJ7G880REKPm08hVnL0HO2IJD1bS8eO7A7sQ0OtTD3VLcj9yRUDyKRgn8DGo2aj8vR2egL/s1600/8-002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipIXqGrDC8zP19xvujKhh6i9oDGV46spO-ir_jtzMWAsHAFwUdacLwKXp9Y0129CjF0ZcPYHvJ7G880REKPm08hVnL0HO2IJD1bS8eO7A7sQ0OtTD3VLcj9yRUDyKRgn8DGo2aj8vR2egL/s320/8-002.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
